SB 187 amends Code Section 44-3-232 of the O.C.G.A., relating to liens, to provide that an association that is owed a financial debt by a lot owner not use a collection agency or take legal action to collect unpaid assessments unless the association has adopted, and follows, a written policy governing the collection of unpaid assessments. |
